City Safe

Just completed my first 1.000 miles in the XC40 and the CitySafe braking has triggered 4 times, at least twice on completely empty roads, no cars moving or parked, no people or animals. Distance is set to medium, so I can't believe it is something too far away for me to notice - what are others experience?
