360 camera intermittently fails why ?

XC 40 T4 Inscription June 2019.
The camera system on My XC40 fails with all 4 cameras not available. This is an intermittent failure. I photographed the screen which shows a blank screen with only a small yellow triangle indicating the fault.
My Volvo garage has said that they have seen the fault a few times and that a software update was available and they fitted this while I waited . All was okay for a few days and now it’s failed again , I rang the garage and the most senior technician stated that they needed the car for two days in order to try to find out what’s wrong.
Has anyone else experienced this fault and any comments would be most welcome as the car goes in in two days time.

I did not have any issue with my 360 camera, I have XC40 since August 2019

My 360 camera is working perfectly as well - so no help I am afraid.
