Hi
I have the car 4 months/3000km, and today first time got the pressure low warning.
I attach a picture, it looks bit strange to me, like XC40 "forgot" what's the pressure should be?
Is it possible to see somewhere current tyre pressure measurements of the in PSI?
Suddenly got TPMS warning during ride
Don't worry. All you need is a tyre pressure gauge and a pump. I always carry one in the car. Check all four and adjust accordingly but remember the car should be cold, only less than a mile driving before checking and topping up. Once done, follow the on-screen instructions and they will be fine, it will take a day in my experience to register the new pressures so just ignore the screen for a day.

Thanks!
I pumped 38 psi at the gas station, clicked on 'store pressure' and drove 15 min above 30km/h as Volvo suggested, but it was still calculating..
In the meantime I ordered portable 12V air pump from Amazon.
Could you please remind me how to keep the car engine ON while I open the driver's door?

It may take several start ups before the calibration.
Just make sure the Amp on the car pump does not exceed 10 amps or you will blow a fuse.
Put the car in park with handbrake or neutral with handbrake. You can also press ignition once without pressing on the footbrake. You can use the power socket on the car.

Thanks!
If I use this air pump without working engine - won't it empty the battery?

That's what I've ordered

It says 10-15 Amps. I would say that is too much. Have a fuse for the car handy and identify which fuse relates to the socket before using it in case the fuse blows out. If the fuse blows out, you should not use it again. The alternative is to run it from the battery directly using crocodile clips but I am personally not a fan of that.

I prefer using a foot pump for my cars and motor cycles. I've got an electric one but find it noisy and gets hot. Keep meaning to take it down the tip!
