Sports exhaust system

Anybody already mounted, or is going to mount a sport exhaust system?
There are only two available on the market today, the system of Heico and the system of Bastuck. Both are available for the T4 and the T5 AWD versions.
They can’t say at the moment if it will fit my T4 FWD R-Design version. Bastuck says the rear silencer also can be mounted on its own, but for sure, this rear silencer can’t be mounted on his own to the existing exhaust pipe on the FWD version, as the Original exhaust line at an FWD version is a straight line from the catalyst at the front to the rear muffler, there’s no bend in the Original FWD exhaust pipe, while there is a bend in the pipe welded on the rear silencer of the Bastuck version to go round the rear differential. But then maybe it is possible to mount the complete version of this exhaust system as I expect the mount at the front catalyst will be the same on both versions.
Hope to get an answer from them soon, unless one of you already had a go on a sports exhaust system?

I agree with Chris, why would you? It’s an SUV/crossover, not a sports car. The engine sounds bad enough as it is.

The tail pipes are integrated into the bumper anyway, so what’s it going to add?

Why would you want a Swedish flag sewn into the seam of your seat, metallic paint, a glass handle for the auto lever, leather upholstery, huge laser cut wheels, go to the moon or climb Everest?

Each to their own!

You can't hear those! If it was something like the sound from an AMG 63 then fair enough. Talking of Swedish flags, have they dropped the little one that hung from the bonnet shut line?

And that doesn't include the money insurance companies make from disallowing or reducing claims when modifications (even very minor cosmetic changes) have not been declared to them.

That’s just the point. It sounds like a Hoover. Nice in comfort mode, but in dynamic mode when the engine revs higher, the sound isn’t enjoyable. It sounds like you are hurting the engine then.
I don’t want a system that turns heads way before you arrive, but a system that gives the driver a nice deeper sound instead of the Hoover sound.

Luckily, in Belgium we don’t have to pay extra insurance for things like this :-)

And as said, why do others prefer metallic paint, or the glass lever, or turn the world around for that little Swedish flag at the bonnet, or... what’s the point of that, so indeed each to their own.

Back on topic please ;-)
