Still wouldn’t go anywhere near a car wash / automated wash if it was mine…
Car wash?
Life's too short for cleaning cars - said and heard often but guess it depends on preference - guess some like just like filth and others prefer clean

While hand washing is definitely the best way to ensure your car stays in top condition, I've personally taken my car through a car wash with no issues. I also had a successful fleet pressure washing once. However, it's important to research and find a car wash that uses soft cloth or foam brushes to minimize potential damage. Additionally, consider getting a ceramic coating or paint protection film to add an extra layer of protection to your car's exterior.

A lot of automatic car washes offer a touchless wash option, give that a go if the car isn't too filthy.
I used to manage a team of engineers that were responsible for installing and servicing automatic car washes, their cars and vans at 3 years old had no paint left in certain areas - down to primer or even bare metal! I tend to avoid them unless it's desperate.....
