Re: Which options / packs are a must?

Couldn't agree more about the service pack I should have put it number one.

Re: Which options / packs are a must?

It really depends on what you want as so many have said. I have a R design D4 and the only absolute essentials for me were automatic cruise control (I would never buy a car without again) and remote powered tailgate. The automatic cruise control only came as a package with intellisafe and while I di...

Re: XC40 1.5 PHEV

I am no expert but there are definitely TPMS sensors in the tyres but they just warn you of low pressure. I had a puncture and they warned me of low pressure (but not what it was). Tyre was beyond repair and replaced. However after 100 miles new tyre suddenly lost pressure again and when I filled it...

Re: XC40 (PHEV) tyres - winter or all seasons

katanel Your weather sounds pretty much like south of UK and I wouldn't bother here. I have never had a problem in our limited snow. The only usual problem is other cars having skidded and blocked road! It would be a different answer if you live where there is hard packed and frozen snow for 2 or 3 ...

Re: Owners opinions on T5 Recharge PHEV

I will be interested in views too. I seriously considered one until I realised it doesn't have AWD which meant it was a non starter for me. I think you will be disappointed with fuel consumption as , unless the vast majority of your drives are under 30 miles, it is unlikely it will match your D4. Su...

Re: R Design

Re the P Zeros. My R Design D4 has them and mine are definitely not run flats. I can confirm as I had a puncture and it went flat as a pancake!

Re: R Design

I have a R Design on 18" wheels and I am very happy with ride. It is firm but comfortable. I test drove an Inscription and Found the R Design a better drive all round.

Re: Built-in Volvo Satnav vs. TomTom

It sounds to me as if you have a problem with your sat nav. Mine doesn't tell me to keep right at every junction just very occasionally when its not clear which is main route of two (perhaps once in 100 miles), mine certainly reroutes during use and corrects when clear (possibly not as quickly as a ...
