Oooohhh... I like the Polestar showing in dynamic mode.
I’ll have to see if my dealer will do the update outside of a service as I’ve got 8 months to wait for that??

Re: 4C active damping comfort.
Hi, In the UK, it cannot be switched off or controlled individually other than by selecting one of the drive modes. I can tell the difference between the suspension in comfort mode and dynamic mode and actually prefer dynamic as the whole car is less ‘floaty’. It’s very comfortable in comfort but it...

Re: Question re cruise control & ACC
I’m in the UK so not sure if all countries are the same but... On the left hand buttons on the steering wheel, you can scroll with the left/right buttons to choose from speed limiter / cruise control / pilot assist. The cruise control option is either normal cruise or adaptive cruise and this can be...

Re: T5 AWD Fuel Economy - what are you getting?
I use Fuelly as I don’t really trust the cars information and am getting 28.8 over my first 1500 miles with a best of 34.7 and worst of 17 although that one included sitting on my driveway a lot with the engine running learning all the tech in the car! According The the car I get around 30 mpg on my...

Did you spec your car with the powered tailgate as I believe that kick unlocking and powering the tailgate are separate options.

Stone chip on bonnet
Hi All, Washing my car today and noticed a scratch on the bonnet which I guess must have been a stone. Pretty gutted but inevitable eventually I guess, just a shame its after 2 months :-( It's difficult to get a decent picture as its (stone) black and like a mirror now but I've tried and my finger i...

Re: Individual Drive Mode Questions
On the dials in dynamic mode, you lose the READY symbol as it disables start/stop.
Not sure about dynamic braking but dynamic suspension firms up the suspension if you have FourC active suspension otherwise I don’t think it does anything as it’s got nothing to adjust.

Re: Brakes
Hiya,
I’ve got an R Design and find the brakes absolutely fine. There is an option in the drive mode selector to change the sensitivity of them as well.
I’ve had an M3 and a R35 GTR previously so am used to ‘sporty’ cars and the XC40 brakes are absolutely ok compared.

Re: Polestar Upgrade
I’ve had it now for 5 days but not done many miles yet. From the few miles I have done, the mid range torque is definitel y noticeable and feels very ‘punchy’ between say 2k and 4.5k revs. The gear changes are also a lot faster and now sounds and feels more like a Manual or dual clutch box and is re...
