Re: Unusual screenwash consumption

Hi everyone, 27th January I put about 2 litres of screenwash in my XC40 after the low level warning came up. The warning is back again after less than two weeks which doesn't sound right to me. Has anyone else had the same issue? Also, what is the capacity of the screen wash tank? Many thanks Hi BA...

Re: Greetings from Australia

Hi everyone, I guess if we can be in Eurovision, I can join a UK-based XC40 forum! :) After only a 4-month wait, I pick my XC40 up tomorrow or the day after. To say that I'm looking forward to it would be an understatement. I look forward to getting to know everyone here. John Welcome! Look forward...

Re: Delivered this frosty morning

A few miles into its life and already enjoying the ride. Getting used to handle the infotainment system but all seems fine. A couple of times the car thinks its about to have a collision with a car on a tight bend and parked on a lay by and the brakes have interviened a for a few milliseconds....gu...

Re: Frozen driver's door window

Took delivery in June and I can remember thinking at the time that I wouldn't be able to test the heated front and rear screens for quite a while! Last night proved to be the first opportunity and both worked perfectly, particularly impressed with the heated front screen as I've never had one befor...

Re: Take Note! Trim Piece issue in Passenger Compartment (on a RHD UK XC40)

I too had this problem on my car back in May, dealer stuck it down with something, when I returned to the dealer again to have my creaky armrest replaced they replaced it with a new pocket, not sure why but seems very secure for now! IMG_20180510_194231.jpg Touching wood, its the only niggle i'v ha...

Take Note! Trim Piece issue in Passenger Compartment (on a RHD UK XC40)

Hi All Apologies if this has been posted as a topic before, but for new owners and those still awaiting the arrival of their new XC40s please keep an eye out for this piece of interior trim located on the side of the transmission tunnel - passenger side if you (like me) have a right hand drive XC40....

Re: What petrol engine should I choose T3,T4 or T5

Hi I am just about to order an XC40 R Design I have been to my local dealer for a test drive but unfortunately he only has a D3. We took the car out for a couple of hours and really enjoyed it As I have been a diesel fan for many years this will be a complete change for me I have just sold my 2 yea...

Re: Auto brake

Sounds like the collision avoidance system detecting a possible collision. 3 times in 30 miles does seem a bit excessive (it's happened to me twice in 3500 miles!). There are threads discussing this elsewhere, the system is generally pretty effective in my experience although there are some circums...
