Re: R Design vs R Design Pro

Don't think so Stu. I've got a D3R which I bought from Lookers in Colchester. Now 6 months old and very pleased with it.

Re: Interior Coloured LED Lights

The only effect the 'Mood Lighting' has on me is to put me in a very bad mood, for it is non existent. I drove a BMW 640i GT last week, and that had proper mood lighting all around the inside. In all fairness though, when one is a 'Victor Meldrew', nothing would put me in a good mood.

AdBlue Consumption

My D3 has now travelled over 3K miles and still has the 4 segments of AdBlue showing. Apparently it does not go down gradually. like the oil level, but drops off segment by segment. Just wondering how other peoples AdBlue situation is. Oil consumption has been nil. Thanks

Re: T5 - Start/Stop

I try to always disable this prior to every journey. It may save a pint of fuel over a year but I think the starter motor must be under a lot more strain. I want to be in a situation when I can accelerate immediately without that moments hesitation.

Re: Standard XC 40 Stereo

Hi, I agree with all the other replies, it is excellent. I have a BOSE system in my Porsche Boxster, but that is far inferior to the standard XC40 one,

Re: Can't find a D3 to test drive anywhere!

I never had a test drive either! Read the reviews, found a cancelled order on the Wednesday and drove away on the Saturday. It replaced a 'C' class cdi200 Merc. Now 2.25K miles and delighted with it.

Re: Sudden loss of power

Thanks for suggestions, but no it was not turned on, and the roundabout was on an unrestricted road at the time, very strange. Taking car in on Thursday for 3 month check and a couple of jobs so will get them to check onboard computer for any failure notices. Hi Taff, taking my D3 in for check next...
