Re: Stupid Sat Nav
I’ve just spent the last 2hrs playing around with the Satnav in the new car while parked up on the drive My conclusion is it’s complete garbage and not fit for purpose and that’s before I try it out on the road! If it had been a extra cost option I’d demand my money back!! The interface is terrible...

Re: Stupid Sat Nav
Tried a number of different nav apps over the years, hate Waze as it choses very strange routes at times. Only one I like is TomTom Go on the iPhone. It started out awful but after just a few version updates it’s now really very good. Only problem is mounting the phone, the Brodit mount for the XC40...

Re: Thread for North West Europe Map data updates
Thanks for the advice, was starting to think I had a corrupt download. A progress bar would be helpful so at leat you know its doing something. Thanks for the help. Correcting myself above - I have found a progress indicator. Never checked for it before. Once you start the download from the USB in ...

Re: Tourist - Alternative Speedometer
I’ve found the tourist speedo. In the trip meter, 3rd section there are three square tick boxes. Text for first says ODO - mi, second is an arrow & petrol pump - mi but for the third box there is no text description. If I select the box with the blank text then the digital speedo changes to km/h...

That’s where I expected it to be but it doesn’t appear there.

Tourist - Alternative Speedometer
The manual talks of a “tourist alternative speedometer “ and it implies that it is enabled/disabled in the trip computer using the steering wheel right hand controls. I can’t find such an option in the trip menu. Anyone managed to find it? I’m wondering if it only appears when outside the home regio...
