This message is aimed at those who have already taken delivery and/or those that are well versed in such matters and prepared for the big day! Is there any information required from the dealer in order to set up all functions on for example Volvo on Call. I was thinking in terms of vehicle identific...

Re: Tyres

Mines is coming with 20" wheels; If I decide not to do a swap with somebody for 19", I will run Michelin Cross Climate (+) 255/45/20's, they are expensive; I would run them all year round. I don't think standard UK oem's on an XC40 will be all-season If I do swap to 19", I will proba...

Tyres

Can somebody please tell me whether the standard tyres on an FE are all season or not.
Thanks in advance .

I am still deliberating over whether to go for winter tyres or not. This knowledge will help greatly.

Re: Polestar

I have now taken the plunge and have secured Polestar at today’s price. The dealer feels that it is very worthwhile especially for me, coming from a very quick Audi SQ5. Given all the feedback from Forum members, I did not need a lot of convincing. I have decided to take delivery without Polestar an...

Re: Polestar

You probably read it here........ https://www.topgear.com/car-news/suvs/polestar-will-make-your-regular-volvo-more-drifty Polestar makes a difference in all modes as far as I know. Maybe they mean the extra power to the rear wheels only takes effect when stability control is off or in dynamic mode....

Re: Polestar

I have read somewhere that in order to access the benefit of Polestar you have to either be in dynamic mode or switch off stability control. Firstly, is this the case? Secondly, if this is the case, would I see any benefit in Eco mode or Comfort mode? As I rarely use Dynamic mode, I am concerned as ...

Has anybody else with an end October estimate heard anything recently? I was hoping for an improvement but I suppose it c...

Re: MPG - Again :-)

Just wondering if there's any air con factor in some of the lower than anticipated mpg some are mentioning. We've had a lot of unusually warm weather lately so I'd imagine the air con has been working pretty hard. Have read a few things about possible reduction of up to 25% (not XC40 specific) part...
