I've been back to the dealer, and I'm not joking, 7 times. They must have replaced every part of the steering and suspension by this point. Still not resolved
Got an XC90 for my last courtesy car, so that was nice. I've also had multiple V40's and V60's. The 60's and 90's seem better built.

Re: Nice dashcam
Because the inner part of any bulletproof window is of polycarbonate which can be damaged by things add that to it. I'm no materials expert but the sticky pads for dashcam mounts and the wire clips (at least for my Blackvue) are 3M VHB pads, with 3M listing bonding polycarbonate to various substrat...

Re: Software Upgrades
It's a shame you can't have the car connect to WiFi when at home (and the router is in range) but when it's not have it connect using the installed SIM card (car modem internet or something). I think you have to switch manually.

Re: Data Sim Card v Phone Tethering
Could anyone get the Internet over Bluetooth feature to work? Everything else works fine for me and I've got a SIM card now so it's not as big a deal, just interested in what I might have been doing wrong. It looked like it connected OK but then didn't have access to the internet for updates etc. O...

Re: T5 - Start/Stop
Mine will often stop the engine when I come to stop, the auto brakes are applied (green A symbol), I lift my foot off the brake, the car doesn't move but the engine switches on again. Bit pointless really!

Re: Fuse Box - Permanent Live
Thanks for this Wedgie, this is really useful. I've got the active suspension so I'll have to do some testing for an alternative though a switch live might do me fine.

Re: Seat stitching faults?
It looks like the stitching is being put under pressure when you’re sat in it. Do you have to put pressure on the surrounding area or move the seat to a weird position to see this or is it easily visible? I'm wondering if it's wear and tear like you suggest because the plastic is digging into it an...

Re: Fuse Box - Permanent Live
Contrary to what was said above, I managed to find both a switched and permanent fuse connection in the under seat fuse box which were live and did not have an existing fuses in place, so no danger of interfering with an existing circuit. I was a bit twitchy about this as an installer put in a Smar...

Re: Mysterious knocking/rattle
Maybe I have the same problem but a deep knocking sound coming from the back as soon as I press the brakes at very low speed. As if something was rolling in the boot. But obviously I have nothing there. I have taken my car for the first service and my dealer said there is nothing wrong. The sound d...
