It registered 10m or so it went from the front car park to the garage at my dealer's. Doors unlocked and windows down for its 3-months service and software update. It then registered the move back to the car park - so it does record very short journeys, at least on my setup (default).

For me it's the interior, it's where you sit and interact with all the time, you don't really see the outside of your car when driving. I read somewhere (probably in the bowels of these forums) that Volvo signed up with Google to base on Google car OS for future Volvo cars. Be interesting to see how well implemented the various functions are within the Google ecosystem within the car.
