Still getting this problem tried turning down the fan speed in case this made a difference, tried again no change, the alarm doesn't come on immediately the car starts up and a few seconds later the alarm sounds.
Sort of defeats the convenience factor.

Ive had the same problem with mine would love to know what the reason/solution is.

Good luck with yours boroman hope you get sorted, it is hard to tell that water has soaked into the carpet it is held in place by the backing foam you really need to pull the carpet back then you can easily feel the dampness.

There is a thought that the leak stems from a kinked air con drain tube, causing it to leak back into the car rather than draining outside as it should.
this is still being looked at as are other potential leakage sites or points of ingress.
