Re: windscreen cleaning
D’ya know when you’re in your pyjamas and then get ready to go out and don your glad rags, but come home with your hair all mashed up and food on your shirt? Well some of us are the same about our cars 😂👍 Added to this, dirty lights and a dirty windscreen/dirty side windows can be a hazard. Anyone w...

Re: Build Times
Hi there, It’s three months. I ordered my B4P right at the beginning of July and was given end of September for delivery. Whether that will happen though, is anyone’s guess. I’ve a friend who’s been given the same lead time at a different dealer. With your being the Recharge though, perhaps they’ve ...

Re: ME & MUDFLAPS
🤣😂 I am aware that the cheaper ones are advertised as being made of different materials, if the bumpf is to be believed. If I do buy and they’re not OE, I’ll want them to be made of the most flexible material. Which is what TPE seems to be. Regardless of all this though, I actually think they really...

Re: windscreen cleaning
It’s mainly to do with the air con. As good as the filters are, fine dust will be blown onto the ‘screen by the fans. Even dust from the cabin being blown up. I clean mine using a similar tool to eugen61 The one I use is on a hinge so can get into the most difficult of spots.

Re: ME & MUDFLAPS
I’ve ordered a boot liner but didn’t really want mud flaps but looking at TrevG’s pictures, I think I’ve changed my mind. They really suit the car. Seems it’s better to go for TPE as it’s a more flexible material. I think I’m going to be ordering some.

Re: Inscription
Hi there Moss,
It’s certainly a trivial one this one and not quite sure how it became a topic tbh but it’s just the smallest part of the raft of deletions for MY21.

Re: Remote start - what a God send
Absorbent seat option
This is something I can’t wait to use. Cold, early morning starts will so much more bearable with this.
The remote start I mean, not the absorbent seat!

Re: Inscription
I don’t disagree. 😁 The point isn’t just about this. It’s just the smallest of the raft of deletions. When I mentioned it to my dealer that I’d read about this here, his response was that “this is and always will be a Swedish characteristic of the Volvo’s. This is here to stay!“ 🤷🏻♂️ So it’s more i...

Re: MY21 only 1 main key confirmed
Exactly. 👏👏 I’m just glad I’m getting mine now as the next MY could be downgraded further and will only come with three wheels plus a space saver. Additional wheels can be purchased from the Volvo store. Losing the little touches is bad enough like the exhaust trims, all of the embossing, paddle shi...

Re: MY21 only 1 main key confirmed
Yeah it is ridiculous.
I’m not sure of the cost of a new key but I do know that Volvo charge £175 just for a key fob shell!
As I’ve said previously, there’s going to be lots of MY21 cars sold/returned to lease companies with no key, just a care key.
