My understanding is it’s more in the vehicle dynamics, than equipment spec differences. R-Design is more sporty setup, Inscription is softer. So for similar equipment I’d expect similar pricing.

Check cable, make sure fully plugged into car end, defuzz the socket on the phone with a wooden cocktail stick ...

I’m CarPlay myself, so not able to get into Android workings, but just to try and check the obvious thing first - have you tried swiping left on the Sensus screen where the Android apps are laid out to see if the apps are on a second page?

I don’t see any other Sensus apps either. There is a difference between those & Android Auto/CarPlay apps. Things you have installed on your phone are not necessarily compatible with Android/CarPlay. For CarPlay a google search will get you a list of compatible apps, I presume there is something...

The speed dependent volume is something that’s been baffling me, too. I definitely have to manually adjust as it gets faster, but I’m sure I remember reading somewhere it should auto adjust

Note that when you get into the car after remote starting, the Sensus screen doesn’t show that heated seats/wheel are on until you actually press the starter button. They do warm up, but without any indication.
