Re: Headlights
IIRC the adaptive shadow was offered as part of a saf3ety package when I ordered mine. Went with the 'standard' bending ones.

Re: Fuel economy problems
Agreed. My MTG stated 50 and I reset the trip cpunter just to see. Got 80 miles before I chickened out.

Re: Unwanted Park In/Park Out prompts
Mine kicks in quite frequently when I'm in slow moving traffic, and whenever I'm on a narrow road with a slope to the passenger side. Every time I've actually tried to use it I'm told it's unavailable, so I don't bother now.

Re: sensus navigation error?
I live close to the A40 and most trips start there for me. Sassy (the name I gave the satnav) always attempts to guide me on a 5 mile detour to join the A40, and sometimes tries to steer me on a 12 mile route to bypass the on-ramp that's a mile from where I live.

Re: Fuel economy problems
Run a car dry - really? I would not do that - just fill the tank when you normally would and clock the mileage - when you next fill again, clock the mileage and amount of fuel to fill - do this several times and then do the calc's. Dry = as close to empty as I want to risk taking it. I'm normally a...

Re: Fuel economy problems
Got it back from the dealer yesterday. They did a full software update and things seem to be back to normal, so I'm guessing it was a readout issue? Got to run the tank dry from topped 3 times and record the mileage so we can see what it's getting now, will keep this thread updated.

Re: Fuel economy problems
No brakes seem to be binding, there's no noise like that and the wheels aren't getting any hotter. The noise sounds like a light blow in the exhaust, or like I've got a larger engine than the 2.0 Gear wise I still see the shift points on the tacho, but I'll have a go with the manual mode if the tech...

Re: Fuel economy problems
Wow that's like 12-mpg in cruse control? What XC40 have you got? Can you smell un-burnt fuel because if its not a read out fault and it is using so much fuel then surely some must be un-burnt and that could knacker your cat too? It's a B4 Inscription Pro MY21. I haven't noticed the smell of unburnt...

Fuel economy problems
My XC40 is going into the dealer tomorrow to see if they can figure out what's caused my fuel system to go completely nuts. Up until a couple of weeks ago I was getting in the region of 480-530 miles from a tank (using Eco, Cruise control, and a gentle foot). Now I'm getting around 200-220 miles and...

Re: VOC app
The Volvo Cars app does show the route the car has taken between points presumably because the car records this info and sends it to the app when the ignition is turned off. Should we be worried that the car always knows where we've been and what speed we have been doing? Does it? My driving journa...
