Re: Current XC40 would you purchase again

I am really frustrated by their software support. They try to show they compete with Tesla, but their software engineering and customer support are nowhere near. This freaking Spotify is dying on me every day, I see this buffering or never ending Connecting... UI is awful, plenty of bugs in media p...

Re: Current XC40 would you purchase again

Wow what an interesting discussion. I am looking to replace my Seat Ateca and the XC40 was top of my list. Rather than rely on magazine reviews I like to read what current owners think (the Evoque Forum raised all kinds of issues so I discounted it) so I am a little perturbed by how many of you lov...

Re: Current XC40 would you purchase again

I tend to buy new and keep 8 to 10 years. Had my T4 about 12 months now, I doubt the XC40 will be around when I buy again. I'll probably go for an Apple iCar 2 in rose gold, or Google Sparky AWD in barely black. I reckon you'll be better off with the Sparky, which you'll be able to use on all roads...

Re: R-Design or Inscription?

In my humble opinion, the minute you put chrome on a car it becomes an old man's car and has to be driven accordingly, preferably with string backed driving gloves. Leave the chrome off and it can be any car you want it to be. Don't believe me? Next time you get held up on the twisty bits by someon...

I've always replaced tyres in pairs or full sets; call it being careful/stupid/OCD/too much money or whatever.

Re: The 2.0 engine - is it unrefined?

Yeah, I think it's a bit rough up the top end. Don't go there that much so doesn't bother me, and it adds to the occasion when I do.
