Chatting to the sales manager at my local dealership the other day, he was bemoaning the fact the XC40 is eroding his sales of the XC60. It would be interesting to see if XC60 sales are still holding up.

It's taken till today for me to see one on the road. A blue FE T5 gliding through our village. Served as a painful reminder that I'm still waiting for mine!!

Did they have computers 49 years ago? (Only kidding!). They say that the young are more IT literate, but they only know which buttons to press, but us old 'uns actually understand how the technology works!

Well, I started my career in IT 40 years ago, so I guess that makes me a perfect fit for the XC40 customer demographic - both an old codger and somebody not afraid of technology! Having said that I'm expecting that will take me a little while to get used to driving what amounts to an ipad with wheel...

My current V60 was my first automatic and I will never go back to manual. Found the 'double press' change on the XC40 took a bit of getting used to during my test drive but I'm sure I'll soon get the hang of it quickly when i eventually take delivery.

Hi jsuter. There doesn't seem to be many of us who have gone for Pine Grey yet so I'll certainly post a picture when (if!!?) I take delivery. Mine is supposed to arrive end of May (T5 Inscription) - how about yours??

Hi Cosmic_dave. Mine is in Pine Grey - probably the most sombre coloured car I've ever had, but I thought that it suited. I really wanted another metallic red like my current V60 but you can't get red in the Inscription spec, don't know why manufacturers make these silly restrictions!
