Re: Rain Sensing Wipers - Something Wrong?
Yes, it is different from other cars I've had but honestly, I don't think it's confusing at all. Got used to it in no time. As always, reading the manual helps.

Re: Rain Sensing Wipers - Something Wrong?
On mine, I pressed the rain sensor activation button once and it has stayed on after that. When it senses the rain, it starts automatically without me doing anything and the speed increases depending on the amount of rain. In order to have the sensor turn on automatically once the car starts, you ne...

Re: VOC - problems?
Happened to me 2-3 weeks ago but has been fine since. App update could be the solution, although I'm not sure if that was what fixed mine.

Re: Key Box??
Got my car a bit more than 2 months ago, no box. Keys were handed in a cheap transparent plastic case. The salesperson told me that they used to give them in a nice box but then corporate decided to phase it out.

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.
This is simply a case of too much torque but too little weight on the driving wheels. Reviewers were complaining about front wheel spin with Hyundai Kona as well for instance. Another disadvantage with Twin Engine is that it uses a dual clutch transmission, which is infamous for jerky starts from a ...

Re: Blind spots.
While I very much enjoy my car, I have to admit that the huge C pillars severely limit the over the shoulder view, which can cause dangerous situations. BLIS, cameras and large side mirrors help mitigate the issue but let's face it, smaller C pillars would make us less dependant on sensors and camer...

Re: Trim and Colour options - advice sort
Mine is stone black. I was really nervous waiting for it to arrive because I wasn't sure if it would suit the character of the car but I am very glad that I went for black. It looks classy! Mine is Inscription though, with blond interior. I don't know how I would feel with black on black. And as Mar...

Re: Sensus screen touch sensitivity
Not to defend Volvo, but if it were their issue, it would have worked like crap on the Sensus interaction too, and also while using CarPlay. None of these happen. Hell, it registers commands just by hovering super close, before i get to actually hit it Exactly, that's precisely why I think it's an ...

Re: Sensus screen touch sensitivity
I have just posted a thread about this on the Android Auto community page: https://support.google.com/androidauto/thread/74552392?hl=en&msgid=74552392 Feel free to join forces! Btw, I strongly believe that this is an issue with the Volvo Sensus touch screen sensitivity. Thus, I doubt Google coul...

Re: What have you just found out about your XC40 -> Air-con on via remote
Hey folks, Starting with the car locked, I found that by pressing and holding the remote UNLOCK button "past" (longer than) when the windows auto-unwind, (about another 5-10 seconds) it turns on the XC40 fans / air-conditioning to full blast, to help expel all that hot air from inside the...
