Re: Glacier Silver T4

That's a good idea, I never thought of that. I didn't really want a black roof lining again (had it in an Audi A6 Black Edition) as it makes the interior a little gloomy and you could go for different upholstery options if going for a Momentum or Inscription. I'm sure I'm going to be happy though! C...

Re: My 1st (edition) luv

Yes, those are my thoughts as well. If I'd gone for a grey (but had a few in the past) I'd want a proper darkish grey like Osmium. Thunder Grey isn't a proper grey in my book. Still can't believe the one I saw the other day was Thunder. Likewise, surprised they have dropped it as it's a classic trad...

Re: Osmium Grey Not Thunder Grey

These greys are still so confusing! I'm so glad I went for blue!

Re: New car ordered

What's the score with the parking brake? When I had a test drive it released automatically as I would expect?

Re: Hi from Warwick

Not long now. Had another email to say car would be with the dealer later this week and have arranged to collect next Thursday or Friday.

Re: Calling all Thunder Grey owners

Was parked next to an XC40 yesterday and from the link to Fairfax Volvo it appears that it was Thunder Grey. Surprising really as the description for me conjures up quite a dark grey not a pale bluish grey. Fairfax haven't got the photos or descriptions the wrong way round have they? Edit: Reading b...

Re: New car ordered

Good news at last. As you say it's the not knowing which is annoying. Whilst the delay would still be annoying they could have mitigated it by at least sharing the communications with you earlier so you'd know some of the problem wasn't just with the dealer.

What blue are you going for?

Re: DPF

On the Skoda forum I presently frequent some of the guys have the diagnostic software on a laptop, VCDS, which will do it. It also shows the level of soot in the PDF etc. I certainly notice it in the Yeti, the engine sounds different when driving, more gruff and the tickover increases to 1100. I've ...

Re: High oil level

If it was me I'd take it to the dealer now to have it checked for diesel in the oil to avoid any damage. On the subject of dipsticks I bought an old Fiat Stilo 1.9 diesel as a work hack a few years ago which had an electronic gauge but it also had a dipstick which was good because I then had faith i...

Re: High oil level

I've recently retired and no longer doing a 3 days a week, 20 miles each way commute and hence the ordering of a petrol car. My Yeti diesel is doing some longish runs though and seems fine - must check the oil though and give it a good blast! But with your usage I would have thought you would have b...
