I've got an R design on 18" wheels...and I'm a car buyer who likes a comfortable ride. Fret not about it..But fret a great deal if you have 20" wheels!

N not at all sorry. I do find I need to not slouch in the seat and push the hips well in to the backrest to ensure comfort.

Are they slots so you can use a forklift rather than a car jack??

Hi Jon Great you're joining the XC40 clan The RD Pro can have quite a harsh ride due to the wheel choice 20" I think. As long as you're aware of that and enjoy it....but if you want comfort then the standard RD will give you a more compliant ride. It is worth looking at the options ...I wouldn'...

My RD has 18" and the ride is perfectly smooth. My advice avoid the 20" wheels if you want comfort

I've now hit 14,000 miles and agree it is a great car...the engine has loosened up nicely and mpg is on the rise achieving 42mpg on a run. The technology is great. Once in a while a gremlin pops up...but technology does that. The car has done well on some pretty awful roads/steep hills.
