The ride will be harsher than 18 or 19's as the bit of rubber does provide part of the suspension of the car. I prefer comfort over driving experience. The bigger the wheel, the less rubber, the more likely the wheel will get kerbed.

Driving experience is very personal to the driver. It would be better to just go and test drive one with 20" wheels rather than rely on other peoples thoughts or experiences. It's your money put the effort in to spend it wisely.

Personally I wouldn't want 20" on an XC40.

Having had a number of FL2s myself and mourning the end of production. I can recommend the XC40. It is as solid as the xc40 and you sit high. I went for petrol T4 R Design AWD given the DPF issues that seem to affect so many modern derv cars especially Land Rovers lol If you're looking used then can...

I found the camera, ideally 360, essential even with parking sensors. As the rear ones are often slow to detect, even at slow speed, the impending doom of a post or similar. I've not hit anything but got close to it until the sensors woke up.
