I haven't had water ingress but I did notice when washing the car in the summer that the drain holes below the windscreen were blocked, so make a habit now of checking them regularly.

My update says "installing" when I turn on the car but then "paused" because Download Centre is reporting "no connection to the service". I have tried several suggestions on various forums and FAQs without success so, as per the Volvo website, and as it's been like it ...

My car has 1350 and claims there are no updates. I'm just downloading 1353 onto a USB stick on my PC now - there's 2.64GB, so perhaps it's considered too large for OTA installation?

Thanks for the tip. I might just contact him to take a look - or maybe wait until its next service at the end of February, as it's not a major problem.

The last time I tried to specify a tracker on a new car, the salesman told me it wasn't worth it as car thieves know where trackers are hidden on all the cars they take and remove them very soon after the theft. I was amazed that he didn't just take my money and congratulate me on a wise choice!

I think the VOC app won't talk to the car while the car is in use so you'd have to wait until the thief parks up before you could track it with VOC.
