Re: Auto Handbrake
I started of with it on all the time, but as above - It annoyed me more and more when parking etc. I don't think I've turned it on for at least six months now. Thanks, that's useful, as most of the posts in this thread have been. If you don't use the autohold at all what do you tend to use at stops...

Re: HEADLIGHTS
I questioned the dealer at the 3mth review as on my old focus I had an icon on the dash so I knew if the dipped lights had come on or not - but on the volvo it doesn't have it. He told me I shouldn't worry as the car knows when to switch on.... I often have to manually set them as I'm not confident ...

Re: Hi from Warwick
You will miss the XC! I'm surprised how quickly I'm bowling along minor roads sometimes, it's so effortless and capable if not pushed too hard. The TT rides quite harshly and is quite noisy, neither of which was that noticeable after driving the Yeti and that was a nice car to drive. TT's not going...

Re: Hi from Warwick
I still love mine and I'm 18 months in and more than 20,000 miles. Although, I might swap it soon as we've just bought a van. Don't also need such a big daily driver, and I can have a bit more fun on country roads if I get something a little more nimble. I do sometimes surprise myself and other driv...

Re: Parking Climate
The start button under the remote start tab switches on the engine. The start button under the parking climate tab does not switch on the engine. It switches on the parking climate preconditioning heater. UK models do not have the preconditioning heater so that tab of the App is inoperative. In sum...

Re: ABS Carbon fibre trim and other accessories
Have to say, it's not something I'd want. I personally don't see it as an improvement.

Re: Brake pedal vibrates in ACC mode in the event of a sudden obstacle
I've not had it happen when using Cruise Control, however if the car senses you may have an accident it does flash in the dash and you get the vibration on the pedals.

Re: Inoperative heater/aircon
Good news - turn it off and on appears to have fixed it.
In answer to above - I thought my Focus Air Con was far better, and when in Eco on the XC (didn't have/use on Focus) I find it very poor especially in the rain when it steams up all windows.
