My T3 momentum pro never came with the insulation. I bought one from the dealers to fit myself. They could not tell me why some cars had it and others didn't.

After my first service the phone charging symbol changed so it no longer looked like the symbol on the charging mat.
At my second service the symbol dissappeared completely. No one knew why and I didnt press the matter.

Coincidentally just after posting this I got a curtesy call from the dealer asking about my service experience and were there any problems. I mentioned this but they had no information about it but will forward it on to Volvo customer services and update me when I get my first MOT in September.
