Re: Brake pad size

Thanks so how do I know what size I need? As said, the parts supplier will be able/should be able to identify which pads you need. It might be that all the pads are the same or it might be that the pads are a different size due to spec of the car (a T3 might have smaller discs, and therefore smalle...

Re: Brake pad size

The size of wheel wouldn’t dictate the pad size.

Re: Brake pads

I think brake wear is so very hard to predict. If you are a person who puts their foot down at every opportunity and then brakes hard then of course the pads will wear out quicker than a person who anticipates the road, drives sensibly and has a light braking foot. Also, someone that drives thousand...

Re: Spotify app not launching

Get real people it’s not exactly a good app anyway Get real about what? I asked if anyone else was experiencing this fault, some are. I fail to see what there is to get real about. Regardless of the app being 'good' or not it does offer a better audio quality than using the app via cable on a phone...

Re: Brake pads

I had a previous car with an electric handbrake and was warned that letting the handbrake automatically release when starting off rather than manually releasing it caused excessive wear on the back brake pads. I followed the advice so have no idea whether it is true! Utter rubbish. Think about it. ...

Re: Getting Real Time Traffic Info to work

I've got the Vodafone SIM installed since purchase and think it works as the icons in top left of screen shows bars. However, I have tried going into the Map App (and even the general Apps) and the screen says "not connected", and all the Map update options are greyed out. Also, the data ...

Re: Steering noise

Car in for repair after developing a noise while parking. At very slow speeds (parking) and with full righthand lock there is a noise from the front left wheel. Both forward and reverse. You can also feel the knocking through the steering wheel. Volvo dealer has been very good and have noticed the ...

Re: Speed Sign Assist

Yes this is normal behaviour but you can turn the option off in the settings (it's in the manual somewhere). I have seen just as you describe where it sees a reduction in speed limit that perhaps you hadn't spotted and can brake quite hard Agreed. The braking hard took me by surprise. I trust the b...
