Mines a wired connection, which to be honest is simple to use and works well, so I wouldn’t be disappointed either way.

As has been recommended, Autoglym trim is worth a look at.

I’d give it a good clean first, to ensure as clean as possible and that you’ve no previous products present - a good citrus or APC sprayed on, agitated and rinsed off well, dry it and then apply your dressing…

Might be worth having a look yourself - it’s probably just come unpoppped - had this on a previous car, undid the front part of the inner wheel arch, managed to get my hands on the trim piece, but of manipulating and all good
