Re: Sunroof will not close.

I had an issue following a software update, but then it wouldn't open or close and the lights weren't illuminated around the button. It was fixed at dealer by disconnecting and reconnecting battery (after 4hrs of head scratching by them). It also triggered the 'airbag' urgent warning as I think it c...

Re: My XC40 - 1 year on

Kirsty, what are you getting to the gallon, im still mid to low 30's... but certainly do no drive with economy in mind... I'm around the 40 mark, but do tend to use the eco mode on motorway journeys longer than half an hour. i think it'd be worse if hubby didn't drive my car occasionally! I do a fa...

Re: My XC40 - 1 year on

I'm on 14mths of ownership now, and I agree with the above. Mine is the R-design FE, D4. I also find the gear selection a bit random a times, but I've done over 20,000 miles and they've been in comfort. I do miss being able to chuck the car about on little roads (had a focus before), but that's the ...

Re: SRS Urgent Service Alarm !!

I got the same message, took it to the dealer. It also affected my sunroof, not working. They have to order a part, will take about one month to get the part. I had the same issue - spent 4hrs at the dealer yesterday, they replaced parts from another car to find that it didn't fix the issue. Raised...

Re: Volvo PCP - Service Plan (dealer didn't set up - Fuming!)

Not that I've noticed, but I've literally only opened it twice this year. The act of working out what combination of presses will work drives me mad too. In other news ... on top of not sorting this or the pilot assist, they've also failed to reconfigure my Volvo on Call - so the car has no interne...

Agreed - and I almost always listen to DAB

I'm Scottish and I can occasionally get it to work, but I get so frustrated I generally revert to just using the screen - not ideal.

Re: Any former V40 owners here?

Not an owner but I’ve had one every time I’ve had my car in with the exception of once (so probably 7 or 8 times). The v40 is nowhere near a patch on the XC40 both in quality comfort and feel in my opinion. The car feels dated and I always feel great getting back in mine. The tech and driving feel ...

Re: Considering XC40

I haven't experimented to this level but I suspect that, if you were so inclined, you may be able to drag all the rarely used 'buttons' so far down that you'd have to scroll down to reach them. You could leave just, say, Start/Stop & Camera immediately visible. Edit, P.S: I intrigued myself &am...
