Re: Wireless Charging Woes

followed by a faint sparking noise That doesn’t sound good. Can’t see that here’d be anything between car & charger that could cause an effect like that, it’s all electromagnetic, so I’d be very wary of the connection between charger and phone. You don’t want to be frying hundreds of £$ of phon...

Re: First Year Service

I suspect it'll never be too late for them to accept you as a 'locked in' customer for the next few years. I guess It may be a little bit more expensive monthly than it would've been if taken at purchase, as you'll have to make up the 4 years cost over 3 years (or whatever lengths of plan you choose...

Re: Wireless Charging Woes

I don't use the wireless charger in the Car as I'm always plugged into USB for CarPlay, so only throwing out some suggestions! We have had an iPhone XR sitting on the wireless charger and not noticed any issues with the charging not being constant. Does it work constantly if you sit it on a normal d...

Re: Heating Controls

Not something I've come across through my car ownership. Also worth noting that it's generally seen as good practice to keep the system on to maintain air circulation through the car to prevent misting etc, and keeping the aircon on keeps that system in good health, preventing seals from drying out ...

Re: Approaching light question

If unlocked using key fob buttons, then headlights come on along with door handle lights. If just walking up to the car to use keyless unlock, then nothing comes to life until the handle is grabbed.

Re: Windscreen washers

Mine only squirt when the wipers are moving one way - can't remember if it's upward or downward! Seems sensible to me, and saves wasting water by double coating the screen before the wipers come back.

Yep, looks right. White is baseline colour (same as bonnet & side doors)

When it's open it changes colour.

Re: T5 - Start/Stop

My Individual Drive Mode is essentially comfort with start/stop turned off. Two presses of the mode button after start and I never have to be annoyed by the damn thing! My previous Mercedes had a button for turning off the start/stop, again, it was the first thing I pressed after starting the car. I...

Re: 3 month service/check up

I had my 3 month QA check last week and asked them to look at the pilot-assist alignment as mine too was uncomfortably close to the left side of the lane. They must have done something to it, as it has been perfect ever since.
