Re: Rear view Mirror and the flashing Blue light

I've noticed it too, it's the frameless design of the rear view mirror that does this. As it has no frame the edge of the mirror glass reflects the light slightly weird, so every so often it will catch the light in just the right (wrong?) way to make it look like a blue flash of light out of your fi...

Re: Automatic hazard warning flashers

Maybe I'm a bit more heavy on the brakes than I thought then! It would be preferable if there was some indication the car was doing this, just wasn't sure if it was generally accepted by others it was a bit over zealous with the warnings to other drivers!

Re: Dashcam Routing Cables

My cables go from the camera, down the A pillar, under the interior plastic (under the carpet the plastic piece covers in front of the door sill), to the fuse box under the passenger seat. I have a dashcam battery so its this fusebox where I pick up power and collect the power cable so I now have th...

Automatic hazard warning flashers

Over the last couple of weeks I've twice caught my XC40 flashing the hazard lights quickly three times when coming to a stop. I've only noticed it due to the reflection from the car in front of me. In my last car, a V40, the hazard indicator and clicking noise would come on so at least I could tell ...

Re: Speed limiter

The system usually picks up the road signs or defaults to GPS/map data correctly but I guess it's not magical so can't really tell if a sign is on the road you are on or a parallel road close by. My commute includes a 30mph road with a train track parallel to it, the car will often read the 60mph si...

Re: Buffering...

Via my iPhone (Three) it's a bit slow at my house which is to be expected, after that it works perfectly fine so I'm going to chalk it up to the car, or just terribly bad luck and buffering the next track when the EE coverage happens to drop out. Guess I'll just have to live with it as there isn't a...

What height are you out of interest? I'm 6'4" and have adequate headroom with the sunroof and the seat fully down. Just wondering if you had the seat properly adjusted or you are super tall!

Buffering...

Though a dealer would never agree with me, I'm convinced after a service back in January that the car gets worse reception for the P-SIM I have installed in the car to use services like Spotify. Pretty much every time I start the car I'm 5 minutes into driving when the music suddenly comes on. If I ...

Re: What options do you regret not ordering?

I got every option except the charging pad for your phone. I got CarPlay so figured, I have to plug the phone in for that, what's the point in the charging pad? I never use CarPlay and would have much preferred that pad. I did ask if one could be installed now but they said no. Not sure I believe th...

Re: "power steering assist temporarily reduced"

I get this message when parking at home sometimes, I reverse out of the drive straight onto the road then turn to follow the road. I think it doesn't like me turning the steering wheel so quickly.
