Re: Harman Kardon stereo?
Have you ever had any issues with the stereo? When I had my XC40 and it went in for screeching sounds from the door speakers they put a load of felt on the inside of the grills and it looked just like that. Awful. Nope, this is as per factory. I'm not sure if the grille comes off, or if they'll hav...

Re: Harman Kardon stereo?
Has anyone else noticed this happening? I thought it was dust collecting but I think I must have been vacuuming the material underneath through the gaps over the last few months. I clean my car every week which maybe doesn't help.
No idea how to fix this!

Re: Red Car warning light
Here's my theory and it could be a load of nonsense. I get this a lot on my drive home when I'm passing parked cars on the left and getting very close to the white line on the right to pass them and thus getting close to traffic coming toward me. The road is wide enough of this to happen but the car...

Car changing audio source every once in a while
Just wanted to check if anyone else gets this. I have a SIM card installed and have the Sensus system on Spotify all the time. Every so often I'll switch the car on and it will have changed itself to FM. I'm guessing as I have no stations setup it defaults to 88Mhz and I get white noise. It doesn't ...

Re: T5 AWD Fuel Economy - what are you getting?
I have a T5 AWD and average around 32 mpg - going up to 38 ish on long journeys (according to the car). I drive in what is essentially Comfort mode with start-stop disabled. How many miles have you done? I seem to remember being shocked by the mpg for the first couple of thousand miles. Just over 2...

T5 AWD Fuel Economy - what are you getting?
I know not to trust manufacturer fuel economy figures but for a T5 AWD with 20" wheels, Volvo claim 31 mpg city 39.8 mpg combined.
If I drive carefully I'm lucky to get 25mpg.
Am I doing something wrong? That seems fairly abysmal!

Re: Brake groan
For what it's worth my V40 did this, I think it's just a Volvo thing, along with squeaky brakes! I've had 6 Volvo courtesy cars and all but one had squeaky brakes. The only ones that didn't have the brake groan were manual ones.

Re: Fuse Box - Permanent Live
When you take off the lid, on the left hand side, covered by foam, is the post for the incoming +ve feed. You could connect to this with a spade connector + in-line fuse if you can't find an alternative fuse where you can shut the lid. Thanks that's useful to know, I have a box of different sized c...

Re: Fuse Box - Permanent Live
Still haven't got round to this (car still getting fixed), does the fuse box cover go back on OK or is it a squeeze? Sorry if it's been mentioned, my reading comprehension isn't the best at times!
