Re: Delivery Date

My dealer told me to drive my car as I intend to drive it everyday as normal. Reckons a gentle break in just allows carbon to build up unnecessarily and dull the performance. I would have to agree with him, the the manufacturing tolerances are so tight now the usual arguments for either a gentle or ...

Re: Cycle Carriers

In the case of my bars, the Pano roof opens with plenty of clearence, a good two inches or so. The edge bars are a bit lower I'm guessing by about an inch or so? Looking at mine I would take a good guess it would open without issue but obviously cannot confirm for sure!

Re: Cycle Carriers

I also will be using roof bars for bike racks, conveniently the Thule bars I have for my S3 use the same length bar and foot pack, just need to get the appropriate adaptors for the Volvo rails (kit 4073 for Thule bars) will post some photos once set up! I believe the Volvo branded bars are made by ...

Re: Polestar

The way the above Motor1 article talks about it brings a bit of confusion for me. "Polestar will offer the software optimization on AWD-equipped XC40, 60 Series, and 90 Series Volvos with gasoline and diesel engines later this month. The torque boost for the rear axle is the latest example in a...

Re: Headlights

Adaptive lights it purely cornering lights, as described they turn with the movement of the steering wheel essentialy. Complimented by auto high low beam, that purely switches between high and low beam when neccesary. The AST dancing part illuminating light is purely not available on the XC40 as of ...

Re: What do you think of the new Q3?

I would have to disagree with you all, (still prefer the XC40) but the New Q3 is a good looking car and a big improvement from the current generation which seemed outdated right from the start. I also think it will be the XC40's toughest competition, but as mentioned for a comparatively spec'ed Q3 I...

Re: Polestar

Thanks Telboy! that's pretty much what I was wanting/expecting to hear, would be interesting to hear what your thoughts are after the longer journey aswell. I still have a £300 voucher from Volvo UK at my disposal so it should be a no brainer for me really. I wish the standard mapping would use more...

Re: Polestar

I'm wondering if anyone has got the Polestar upgrade for the T5 engine? Would love to hear thoughts on that, will more than likely get it for mine at some point.

Re: Finally! Osmium Grey FE with lava interior

I was lucky enough to receive the £2750 contribution when I ordered mine back in November, when I originally gained an interest in the car in September/October there was no contribution at all, and shortly after my order it was reduced to £1500, it seems most people have recived fairly good deals fr...

Re: Coming home lights

I would have to say it makes sense aswell, probably 95% of the time when I park my car at night the area is usually lit, be it a car park or my driveway. My previous S3 lights were activated all the time, and other than it looking cool it wasn't really necessary. Appreciate it could be a touch more ...
