Re: XC40 T3 Auto Tremble
Just to jump in with a few comments here; If the gearbox in the T3 is torque converter type (which I think it is) the gearbox will NOT change into N at a complete stop. The speed of the impeller at engine idle is so low that the trans fluid transfers almost no energy to the turbine and therefore ve...

Re: Imminent, likely New Owner
Im looking forward to the (for me) very low consumption. ...my Porsche Cayenne, on my normal daily driving that was returning about 28L/100km what ever that is in MPG... It's 10mpg 😨 Exactly, we calculated the the petrol / insurance / tax costs for the Cayenne (owned) were the same as the leasing +...

Im looking forward to the (for me) very low consumption. As mentioned in the what are you coming from thread I ordered a T5 Twin Engine to replace my Porsche Cayenne, on my normal daily driving that was returning about 28L/100km what ever that is in MPG I do not know but it basically meant filling a...

Re: What car are you changing from?
Last car was 2005 Porsche Cayenne S.
Running and repair costs were becoming quite ridiculous. 3-5 full tanks of fuel per month. Not good.
The Porsche is gone and during the wait until May / June for the Xc40 Twin Engine to arrive I am driving a 2017 V40 XC D2 as a long term rental

Re: New XC40 hybrid for 2020
T5 Twin Engine ordered just over a week ago here in Finland.
Delivery expected May / June
As far as I know production started Week 1 (should have been Week 46 last year)

Re: A few questions regarding the aircondition and protection of mirrors/cameras
Not specifically related to your exact points.
But here in Finland I made a habit of coating my mirrors and cameras on my previous car in a water repellent like Rain X or something.
It helps a lot

Re: Week 46: T5 Twin Engine
Just ordered a Twin Engine last week here in Finland, dealer estimates delivery May / June. Daily searching for any reviews but so far seems as if no cars have been delivered anywhere, dealer will receive a demo model in Feb / March EDIT: Dealer informed me that the production in Ghent had not start...
