Just thought I'd bump this:
After doing loads of short 30-60 minute journeys over the last 6 weeks, and with the Start/Stop seemingly dead, the secondary power source was charged enough yesterday after doing a 2 hour journey and it's back on again.

Re: Satnav & Speed Limits
Sorry for my ignorance but are you talking about the Traffic Sign Recognition in the dash or something in the satnav? The TSR is pretty accurate in mine - picks up 30 immediately passing one and can see the 40 if it is closely followed on. it can also spot 20 restrictions and school warning triangle...

Re: Sold it!
Shock, horror .... sold my FE today. Dealer offered me a very good price. Covered all my costs over the 6 months, plus a nice additional profit. I will retire from posting on the board ... but may still lurk! That's unexpected - but very thankful for all your input on the forum - it's given me much...

Re: Polestar
Checked it out today. The press stuff is misleading. The latest version of the s/w came out in week 28 (July 9th onward) and I have had it confirmed that the new additional AWD rear wheels feature was included from that time. It therefore installs in MY18 models of the XC40 as well as MY19. In the ...

Re: Polestar
Why does it say the upgrade will be available later this month? Is there a further Polestar upgrade to come, or have they just not realised it's already available? Maybe it's v2.0 of the Polestar software which is annoying since I only got mine on Tuesday. Would be good if it could be updated via S...

Re: Polestar
I keep seeing mention of the Polestar upgrade in this forum priced at £695 but I can't find this offer anywhere on the Volvo website. The only place I see it is in the configurator at £835. Is this some sort of special offer and if so where can I find it? Here you go: https://engineered.polestar.co...

Re: Park In (Park Assist Pilot thing) - Parallel Parking
chingfOrd, as always you are welcome :D That is going to be confusing for traffic around - driving in middle/right of the road, whilst indicating right!?! We only have kerbside parking and the road is always rammed with parked cars on both sides but as it's residential, it's not crazy busy - hence ...
