Re: Volvo PCP - Service Plan (dealer didn't set up - Fuming!)

Also same boat, booked mine in for service couple of months ago, questioned why I never had any paper work for the service plan. They had no record of it, I told them at time of ordering (Nov 2017) 3 years free servicing was included with PCP deals, they seemed to be aware of that and got it sorted ...

Re: Polestar

I had it installed a couple of weeks ago, dealer gave me a box with a printed aluminium "proof of purchase" plaque and badge inside.

It's a new badge design as of 2019, gone is the polestar blue colour :(

Re: Off Road anyone tried it yet?

Mine has seen some light off roading, across a few steep fields and fairly rough unpaved tracks. It does feel fairly capable I'll give it that, wouldn't want to get in too much mud with the tires though! In off road mode it does give more torque at low speeds, as per the manual it activates "lo...

Re: Take Note! Trim Piece issue in Passenger Compartment (on a RHD UK XC40)

I too had this problem on my car back in May, dealer stuck it down with something, when I returned to the dealer again to have my creaky armrest replaced they replaced it with a new pocket, not sure why but seems very secure for now!

Re: Polestar

Your right it is purely just software, but I've not seen anywhere that states future updates are included in original purchase. Generaly speaking with car tuning if you want the latest available tune it inccurs a fee... Perhaps that's not the case with polestar I'm not sure? Chris-croft did your dea...

Re: Polestar

My XC40 T5 FE is due for collection this Friday with P*; Having read the post regarding an updated P* software yesterday evening, I immediately sent an email to the sales chap, and the Product Specialist at Volvo(Hull) The Product Specialist phoned me back, having checked all his dealer info system...

Re: Polestar

Will have to keep an eye on this one then! I hope he is just misguided for the sake of everyone who has already had it done! He came across as very confident about it though. I'm not sure if I want him to be correct or not, on one hand if he is, then hopefully it will be more noticeable in comfort a...

Re: Inoperative heater/aircon

My heated seat failed to operate the other day, once I restarted the car it functioned ok but didn't get too warm. My dealer found a fault code from the CCM (climate control module), wiped the software and reinstalled it. All seems ok for now.

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Does anyone know if the xc40 tells you which tyre is low? Hope it's better than on my mazda6. Only ever went off on motorway, which is annoying as I aint checking 4 tyres on a hard shoulder, leave at next exit to find all ok. Turns out mazda's dont like anything but Bridgestone on their rims, wrong...

Re: Polestar

So I just had a chat with my dealer about purchasing polestar, he told me to wait till the updated version is released on November 1st (UK). This is apparently the version that will be slightly better at sending more power to the rear wheels ect.. I had thought that version was already being install...
