Living in rural Scotland and with a busy shooting and fishing calendar I do venture off road.I agree your average city dweller thinks Sainsbury's~car park is "Off-Road".So called life style vehicles are for posing not driving.My new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is a more rural friendly vehicle.

The advertising seems to assume everyone lives in an urban environment where a true SUV is totally redundant.What rural/off road potential does
the xc40 have?Obviously a set of A/T tyres would be the minimum requirement.We don't all live in cities!!!
