Re: Care by Volvo change to terms and conditions
I had a huge amount of effort to get Volvo to send me through the detailed contract I was due to write off by signing the new deal. Eventually they sent it through and I had a very good conversation with an informed customer service person. The clinch for me was what happens if the 3rd party that no...

Care by Volvo change to terms and conditions
For those on care by Volvo, have you had notice of a new contract?

Putting it out there…

Re: 12v starter battery B4 mild hybrid
13.8 volts is within normal charging range for a 12v battery. What fault has been diagnosed? I've been driving two B4 MHEV's for the last 20 months (around 20k miles) 22MY and 24MY without issue. What year is yours? The fault was a run down battery, I think the error my wife got was main battery no...

Re: 12v starter battery B4 mild hybrid
The 12v battery is NOT the starter battery on the B series mild hybrids. The starter battery is the 48v battery in the boot under the shelf. The 12 v battery drives everything else on the car. The starter battery was the 12v battery. The car's own power supply is connected to several different batt...

12v starter battery B4 mild hybrid
Hi went camping last week and my stater battery went 100% dead. When the Volvo assistance tech turned up he said that he has seen a huge upturn in mild hybrid call outs. My wife has had two battery charging faults both call outs previously. He also noted that max charging voltage was about 13.8v. Ha...

Re: LTE SIM Card stopped working
I spoke to CBV and they said there was a software issue due to be resolved by an update. I restarted the system and it must have updated as I haven’t had an issue for the last 10 days.
