As mentioned, once you manage to get tge marking removed, a good wax or coating helps enormously to keep on top of them.

Daughter has now had it confirmed that they are honouring the original deal. Small issue in that Volvo have gone ahead and registered it despite being told that she was transferring her private plate onto it. Not a big issue but just more hassle. I’d be asking for your diagnosis fee back. They’ve found a fault, which is being covered by Volvo for you, you shouldn’t need to pay the diagnostic fee now…

The inscription is a softer ride than the r-design, but as you’ve got the PHEV, I suspect the suspension is tuned for this as it will be a heavier car…

Can’t help with your fault and I hope you manage to get it sorted - I tend to take photo or video if possible, just so I can show the service desk the issue.
With regards to not revving past 4K, it’s possible the car has a soft limiter on, so if it’s not in gear, it won’t rev past a certain point…
