Yes the stop is uncomfortable and I find a slight lag in the gears. Its like turbo lag when changing up. Unfortunately I am at the end of my rope with this car and will be going back to Audi as I have had 12 years fault free motoring with them. I have had 2 breakdowns in the XC40.

Hi Buzbox. I have logged it with the Volvo dealer who reckons its a software glitch. It just showed it was sitting in 6th with a + sign and a tortoise. Just a bit unnerving when driving it. We will see what happens. Thanks

Thats it just done it again and also some have reset to default. Never had any electrical issues with my 5 different Audi's. Thinking the XC40 has been the wrong move

Yeah I did just that and it seems to have cleared the issue. Whats more worrying my boot opened by itself this morning for no apparent reason. Gremlins about !!
