Re: Paint vs poop

You are right. I've had bird crap on the bonnet with no effect but on the black roof the paint has been affected. I try and clean any off as soon as I see it but if away for a few days then obviously it can't be done. Reports on the ceramic coating are a poor show as I assumed that there would be a...

Re: Paint vs poop

When I tried to fix it yesterday, it looked terrible. This morning, weirdly, it looked much better and with one more go at it with Autoglym paint renovator and polish, it’s almost gone. Can’t understand it but I am happy.

Re: Paint vs poop

Re: Paint vs poop

Paint vs poop

Just back from holiday and car has been crapped on by birds. Before I went away, I used Autoglym ceramic seal on the paintwork to protect it. Having carefully cleaned off the poop, the paint has bubbled nicely and is now a mess. Paint renovator has had little effect. I am concerned that Volvo paint ...

Re: SIM failure

Update: I emailed internetinthecar.vodafone.com. They replied with 2 days and said If a modem suddenly says there is no sim card inserted, it could mean there is a little bit of dirt in the sim holder or the sim card has been dislodged. At your convenience, please locate your sim card using the atta...

Re: SIM failure

I tried taking it out and back in. No luck. I will contact Volvo.
