I guess not to the floor, but would travel down noticeably. At the moment it won’t travel at all and is solid when you press against it until I switch the engine on at which point it softens. Definitely a change over the last week.

Absolutely. We’ve had no problems with it since using it in the XC40.

We’ve had the EzyDog Click Seat Belt for several years now. Actually got it when we had a Volkswagen Tiguan, but knew from the product description that it wasn’t meant to work in the Volvo brand. We tried it out the moment we got our XC40 and it clips in securely with no problems.
