Re: Clarkson on Volvo
I think anyone who bought one before this time last year has done well tbh. I got mine ex-display with 4k miles on the clock for well under £30k, and 6 weeks later it was worth over £30k. When has that *ever* happened with a used car before?!

Clarkson on Volvo
Something nice about Volvo from Clarkson in today’s Sunday Times. Maybe the value of my ex-display XC40 might go up *again* this year! Almost a better investment than whisky…!

Tips on fuel consumption.
With petrol prices at an all time high, I thought it might be good to start a thread to see if anyone has any serious tips on keeping fuel consumption down while driving. I’ve an XC40 T3 Auto and have set the ‘individual’ driving mode up to basically mirror the eco one, but with a couple of minor ch...

Re: Wireless Carplay Solved
I had CarPlay retro fitted a couple of months ago. It is wired, not wireless and unless you have the charging pad (and a phone with wireless charging) CarPlay EATS your battery, so you’ll need it plugged in anyway. Ergo, v little point in going wireless. I’ve had rented cars with wireless CarPlay an...

Show trip data in the driver display
Until recently I’ve been easily able to switch between readings of the trip computer on my driver display. However, it now seems - post service - to be stuck on the av TM setting. Pressing the button to get the trip computer up, moving up or down the list, and pressing the confirm button (as per the...

Re: What irritates you about your Volvo XC 40?
I know it is all part of the package but the aircon settings while in Eco mode have on some long trips I’ve done, caused the windscreen to mist over. Was ok on my latest long drive tho. Also having to select your drive mode every time you get in the car is annoying. For this reason, I set the indiv...

Sensus Nav + Waze
Has anyone on here worked out a way to have both Sensus Nav and Waze via Apple CarPlay running at the same time? I'd like Sensus nav in the screen on the dashboard, as well as waze running on the centre console. But when I start waze via Apple CarPlay it deactivates the Sensus nav. Cheers all and Se...

Re: Waze on AppleCarPlay
thanks all. That’ll do me- so long as I don’t have to se my phone sliding all over the dashboard as I drive and try to follow waze….!
