You can take your car to any garage, even during the warranty period. As long as the garage services and repairs in accordance with Volvo, and uses their parts, then warranty is unaffected.

Anything else would be a monopoly situation and is unlawful - since October 2003.

My car was also bought late 2019. I bought a 5 year service plan for £600 for the 5 years. In late 2020 it went in for its first service having done 4,000 "lockdown" miles. This year, about September, it will be going in for its 2 year service, at an expected mileage of 8,000. Pity the ser...

There isn't really normally any room for negotiation. A basic service + things it needs will be a price, a mileage based service will be a cost + things it needs.

That's the price asked for and to be paid.

If it has foam inside it's previously been repaired by the foam canister supplied in lieu of a spare wheel.
