Re: What have you just found out about your XC40.

I've noticed that if i receive a message in Finnish, the car pronounces said message in correct Finnish speak, likewise for English and French.

Re: 2.0 Update

My car received the 2.0 update yesterday. Since then, the app has has been much less responsive. Very slow to update car status. Had to unlock the car and get inside of it before the app would connect. I finally got it to set a climate timer, but this morning the app couldn't find the timer, and no...

Re: T5 Recharge on a “long” trip

Yeah, that's been doing the rounds now for a few days. Unless you have access to the SuperCharger network (ie a Tesla) and even then on limited routes, long trips like this with an EV are pretty hard to plan here. One of the reasons I went for the XC40, I do my day to day driving almost exclusively...

Re: T5 Recharge on a “long” trip

That's a good trip. Just been a few stories in the national papers (ilta sanomat) about taking a full electric car on that journey and how it fares.

Re: Dash cam recommendations

I recently installed a Blackvue 2ch set up. hard wired with the parking battery accessory under the drivers seat. Only 'tool' needed was a credit card or loyalty card. All wiring tucked under the linings and then under the floor mat under the seat. Have had it running for about 2 months and no warni...

Spotify - Radio - Whatsapp

Hi, Have a Spotify account set up in the car, and then also my own through Android Auto (the car version gives different music suggestions). When a Whatsapp message is received, if you press the notification, it reads it out straight away. If you don't press the notification or receive another durin...

Re: Well 4 weeks in all OK

Agree on the car, i've had Alfa's, Subaru's and last was a RRS Hybrid (which i would get back in a heartbeat) the XC40 wasn't my ideal choice but it ticked all the boxes for my daughter who just passed her test. Safety first. Have also had the dashcams, front and rear and have installed myself, take...

Re: Dash cam recommendations

Hi, Picking up this thread. Have had a Blackvue dashcam, front and rear installed in every car i've owned. Installation has always been pretty straight forward. The hardest part seems to be finding the fuse that is ignition only and then permanently live. I would like to install the main powers in a...
