Re: 3 SIM card on offer at Amazon £35
I also got one during the offer. Come March and the vodafone timed out, just swopped the 3 SIM in and it worked with no further effort.

Re: Private plate switch over
That's to check the history of the second hand car your buying, not really relevant to swopping your OWN plates onto the car.

Re: Battery charge status in app
That's crazy! What if you were a luddite without a smart phone? The phone app should be an add on to the car not mandatory.

Re: Care Key
I had this in march when I had my care key programmed. They were asking £50 plus vat, BUT only mentioned this when I came for collection. When I'd booked it in and when I took it in in the morning there was no talk of cost, so I argued if it was chargeable they should have told me up front. Service ...

Re: XC40 FWD review
I don't see why just driving the front wheels would affect the ability to brake regeneratively. Yes it will be front biased, but then regenerative braking on many ICE vehicles is fr...

Re: Driver's Seat Heater Fuse Location?
Just checked and it's the same with my manual. Maybe it's incorporated into power seat (right) fuse 6. And under the bonnet fuse 44 power drivers seat.

Re: B4P fuel use in Eco mode
Sort of, my default is custom mode with engine in ECO everything else normal. I find the accelerator is less aggressive in this mode and it gives me coasting. So my default at drive away is a double press of the mode button to go into custom, wish it would remember by default.

Re: B4P fuel use in Eco mode
This is it, you can make good swift steady progress in the 50/60 mph range and get good mileage. I've kept a spreadsheet (sad I know) since I've had the car. Often get around 40 or better, best I've had 52.3 on a 7.4 mile trip. So it can be quite economical. Worst I get, no surprise, is towing the c...
