Re: Thinking of a XC40, Know little about cars, never owned a Volvo, advice required.
Hi Agree with the last two posts regarding mpg and diesel, l would be looking at an alternative, could I suggest that you check out mk2 vw Tiguan similar size and plenty of diesel options about. I have driven 2 tiguans in the past a mk1 and mk2 both with no problems, the mk2 car is a big improvement...

Hi
If it were me, I would definitely reject the car and get your money back, the Volvo garage has definitely gave you some worrying problems. You can’t be comfortable that the garage will do all the work required plus There are plenty of used XC40 about

Re: Insurance Renewals
Hi My renewal went from £352 last year to £623 this year, viewed all the usual comparison sites and that renewal quote wasn’t too bad with most of the quotes being £700+ with the exception of Aviva, that was £429. The policy with Aviva is online only with the exception of making a claim. Did some re...

Re: Anyone ordered an EX30?
Hi Have received emails from a local dealership, TMS Hinkley, advising that the ex30 is in the showroom and inviting me to take a test drive and I might consider it in about 12 months Interestingly and surprised an insurance quote for an EX30 single motor and extended range came out at £59 more than...

Re: Will Volvo Change Tack?
Hi Interesting thought, will Volvo change course for the 2030 electric only, I don’t believe they will but it all depends on the market I don’t know how other countries in Europe , the states are doing with their ev infrastructure roll out it’s probably better than ours. The uk is probably an import...

Re: Would you lease an XC40?
Hi Agreed, my first 2 xc40 were traded in long before the pcp finish date and was able to retain my original equity or deposit for the next deal, on my current car I believe that there will be no equity if I keep the car to the end of the pcp plan. As i don’t intend to keep the car after the warrant...

Re: Bristol port delay
Hi
They may delay delivery for you but in their t&c you will likely find there is a clause stipulating that the car must be collected within a certain amount of time once it is available. One of the dealers that I purchased from the time to collect was within 2 weeks.
