Re: XC40 vs XC60
This all reminds me of the frustration I had when I moved from VAG having owned many VW and Audi cars and a Skoda Yeti. I had intended staying with them but couldn't have the spec that I wanted and being forced to have things I didn't want. Fortunately Volvo came to the rescue and I got pretty much...

Re: Brake-by-wire question...
I suspect Cornishman is referring to the regenerative braking when the hybrid element of the B4 is charging after lifting off the accelerator pedal. This (I imagine) produces a slowing effect a bit like being in a low gear in a manual car. Many fully electric cars allow the driver to choose the lev...

Re: Glasses Holder
P. S, the dealer will ask for your car details, just ask for the current offer on the glasses case I'm sure if there was a problem they'd tell you. Good luck. Thanks very much for the detailed explanation it's much appreciated, I probably won't go ahead with this as my car is on lease so the lease ...

Re: An end to dealerships
As I have leased my cars over the last 6 years or so most of my contact has been online anyway, I just find the best deal on a specific car and then if I want a test drive I go to the nearest dealership, if the dealership is able to match the price I have been quoted then I will go with them. If not...

Re: What car are you changing from?
I currently lease a XC60 T5 AWD in Momentum spec, it's a great car but to renew into another lease with the equivalent spec it's gone up quite a bit so looked at any SUV type of vehicle with a decent spec at a reasonable monthly cost but not very many deals out there. I have gone for the XC40 FWD B4...
