Re: Rejecting car
I'm UK and rejected a car recently. I gave the dealer a couple of attempts to repair, but kept getting new/recurring issues so had no confidence in the car and the dealer took it back without any quibbles.

Re: Plug-in plugged-in?
I did. I'm told it's a known fault and not to leave the car plugged in for more than 12 hours otherwise the electrics stay on and drain the 12v battery.
Not impressed, but I was told Volvo are working on the issue.

Re: How did I get map update
If you've got a 24gb/2 year Type data sim then downloading maps via phone is going to chew up all your data pretty quickly at 2gb a map update.
I just wait for the notification and then download on laptop/usb. Quicker, cheaper etc.

Re: Plug-in plugged-in?
Into a 32amp socket. I set the charge initially to run from 00:30 to 02:30 so that the car is 3/4 full, then change the start/end times to be 5 minutes apart for subsequent days.
This is because I don't want the car sitting at 100% full for up to a week when I won't be driving.

Plug-in plugged-in?
Was having problems with my T5 Twin 12v battery going flat. When assist came out the engineer said that there was a known issue that if the car was plugged in for days without being driven then it would drain the 12v. So my question. Anyone else with a twin leave their car plugged in for days, witho...

Re: WARNING: TwinEngine possible fault
There is an oil gauge in one of the screens, so are you saying that you hadn't noticed no oil, or that it's a different oil that it's losing?

Phev /t5 12v battery
Any idea how the 12v battery gets charged on a t5? Eg if only ever driven in pure mode is out still getting charge, or does it only get charge when the petrol engine is running?
