Re: Brake judder

Is there an advantage to that? I would have thought that meant you’d effectively be accelerating and braking at the same time (when accelerating)? I’ve only ever used it to aid natural slowdown or when coasting downhill. What’s your fuel consumption like? The regenerative aspect of B mode only work...

Re: Brake judder

You sure it's not the basic lane alert? Does the lane icon turn orange? The feeling being described is through the brake pedal, not the steering wheel. Not the lane keeping aid. As said it is through the brake pedal. Quite disconcerting the first couple of times. I posted the comment as it has not ...

Brake judder

Occasionally......when braking for example approaching traffic lights, and one wheel hits a slight bump ie drain cover, there is a short brake judder like abs kicking in.

Anybody experienced this?

Scheduled charging problem update

Those with a T5 recharge will be aware that there has been problems with the scheduled charging via the VOC app. Volvo originally gave a fix date of 1st quarter of 21.

After a check with my dealership today, the revised fix date is now 3rd Q of 21!!!

Re: Drivers seat pealing

No peeling but at 3 months old my charcoal leather started to show patches of a white substance!! It cleans off with a damp microcloth but reappears soon after.

Dealer reckons I have had something on the seats that has transferred to the leather...I haven't, but they are insistent.

Recharge - scheduled charging update?

Has anyone heard news of the fix for scheduled charging in VOC? When Volvo disabled it they said a fix in 'first quarter 21'. Well it's March 21 now!

Re: Recharge Help

Also remember that the parking climate will only run for a max of 30 mins. I don't use the timers I just start it via the app. It will also chew up about 10 to 15% of your hybrid battery even though you are plugged in.

Leather interior marks

Has anyone had white marks appearing on the leather seats? Being a sadsack, no other person than me has been in my car and I don't put anything on the seats at all, but, some white blotches have appeared on the passenger and rear seats. A damp micro cloth improves the appearance but they just come b...

Re: Volvo On Call App - Charging Timer

I think peter8642 has hit the nail squarely on the head! It is just far too complicated. All anyone wants is to simply plug in and tell the car when to start charging. Luckily for me I have the advantage of Volvo subsidising my electric miles for the first year. Has anyone used/is using the 'Ohme' p...

Re: Volvo On Call App - Charging Timer

I have an answer for you all. I too noticed the removal from the app and called my dealer. Spoke to the Master Tech who did a bit of digging. The feature was removed from the app in the 1st week of Nov due to the problems it caused draining the 12v battery (many posts about that problem). When charg...
